REFUSE TO LOSE.
Empirical solutions to unavoidable extreme violence.
2Counter Violence are experts in fighting who specialize in advanced Counter Violence training and Zero Distance Warfare: training to handle real life street encounters all the way to war zone threats.
Why we say Active Self Protection is superior to self defense.
defense: the act of defending someone or something from attack
Self-defense implies that something bad is happening to us. Therefore, any action is responsive rather than proactive. In too many instances this means it’s already too late and, at best, is just damage control.
protection: the state of being safe and kept from harm, loss, etc.
Active self-protection is a state of being, one that implies a vigilant awareness and a constant state of readiness that demands action. It is proactive rather than reactive.
2Counter Violence reveals some Facts that need to be said.
1. Real training Must Work In the Real World
This should be unnecessary to mention, but unfortunately it’s not. Many, many techniques taught in martial arts schools and sport fighting gyms around the world will not work against a real person attacking with primal emotional intent. Because training partners are coached to cooperate and respond in certain slow ways, techniques seem to work in training, but have no real world validity. In contrast, Empirical 2 Counter Violence methods are tested against fully resisting, completely uncooperative opponents.
2. Protective gear misleads you
Many techniques trained in martial arts schools and sport fighting gyms are done with low intensity or protective gear.If you attempted to apply these same moves with full power in an extremely violent attack you will take yourself out of the fight. Hard punches to the head will break your hands. High kicks, if you can do them in most normal clothing, are risky because you can fall or be knocked off balance to the ground easily.Furthermore, many techniques expose you to serious damage–like trying a Silat entry technique. 2 Counter Violence is designed to work when done with full power, no protective gear, and in the real world.
3. Real training Must be applicable to a variety of attacks
Many martial arts actually pride themselves in how many answers they have for a straight punch, a swing, a hook, an overhand punch–let alone kicks etc. These myriad of solutions are done against willing partners who are instructed what area to attack with what punch and even at what speed. (EVEN WORSE THAN THIS IS THE TRAINING MARTIAL ARTISTS DO AGAINST BLADES OR STICKS–IT IS NOTHING SHORT OF CHOREOGRAPHY AND CHOREOGRAPHY WILL NOT SAVE YOUR LIFE AGAINST EXTREME VIOLENCE.) Time for reality–if you cannot defend against any fist or foot (blade or stick) strike to any target without your prior knowledge then you are incapable of surviving extreme violence. In contrast, we use an empirically proven global defense that works in the real world at real combat speed.
4. Real training Must Shut Down Future Attacks
When you respond to an attack it must stop the attacker from continuing his attack. Those who buy guns understand this completely and it’s the principle behind shooting someone–to stop the attack. If you are not using this same concept in unarmed responses you are in a victim state of mind. If you do not have the technology and training structure to stop an attack bare handed you went to the wrong school or gym. 2 Counter Violence handles not only the technology you need bare handed but includes the emotional, strategical and tactical training.
5. 2 Counter Violence it Must Inflict Physical Damage
Those who choose to learn handgun skills do so because they realize that to stop violence it is necessary to have overwhelming stopping power. The same applies to unarmed self protection. Unfortunately this is counter to other training that is available. Now, don’t get me wrong, Sport Fighting is great when you have a long period of time to face an attacker one on one, in an unobstructed, well lit, perfect temperature environment that has no uneven ground, no stairs, broken glass, metal or concrete edges or floors while wearing non-restrictive clothing. Sport Fighting is not designed to solve the problem in arctic or tropic environments where you risk hypothermia or heat stroke while you might be wearing clothes or carrying supplies that restrict your movement (soldiers face this problem everyday). Sport Fighting training is not designed to work when suddenly the lights go out and and two more attackers join in the attack. Additionally, traditional martial arts also fail in another huge way–the very idea that you must take yoru shoes or boots off to train and practice. Really? To train without shoes or boots is as stupid as learning how to snow ski by training in the Sahara desert. In contrast, it is our work with Zero Distance Warfare that allows us to approach countering extreme violence in an empirical and scientific way that sport fighting and traditional martial arts cannot. If you are interested in having violence ending stopping power and our approach, apply to see if you can qualify to work with us.
Remember that Extreme Violence is not choreographed. This means to be successful your training cannot be choreographed.
